Most of the time, when the desulfurization tower is forced to scrape because of its high resistance, the packings in the tower are still available and need not be updated. This is to recycle the packings in the tower, clean them up and reload them into the tower.
Some units work very carefully in picking up the tower. After picking out the packing, they flush it with water and then put it into the tower. This will inevitably consume a lot of water, flushing filler water where to go is also a big problem.
For regular packing, it may be used very little now. First of all, it is clear that the packing belt should not be cut after the new packing is packed as required by the manufacturer, so that the workload of the picking tower will be large. When the packing belt is in good condition, the desulfurization liquid is used to punch the edge of the tower, and the packing in the tower can be transported out of the manhole in whole piece, and a small amount of scattered packing can be stored separately by layered gauge. Pick out the filler without water flushing, directly put in a clean field to dry, hit it on the line. It feels light to lift a piece by hand, indicating that the sulfur foam has basically fallen off. The fragmented reconstituted blocks are packed with packing tape. Finally, the packing can be re-rounded and packed into the tower.
The picking work of bulk packing is relatively small, but it has a greater impact on the environment, because the packing should be picked out from the discharge hole, so that the adhered sulfur foam and the desulfurization liquid brought out are more than the picking regular packing, which makes the site dirty, not to mention, the key is that these desulfurization liquid and sulfur foam pollute the environment. The unloaded stuffing shakes on the spot. As long as the stuffing is not stuck together by sulfur foam, the voids on the stuffing basically come out. It is not necessary to wash out the original appearance of the stuffing with water. Then the packing is directly packed into bags and can be re-packed into the desulfurization tower.
After removing the packing, it can be operated in large volume during the period from start-up to system loading. At this time, the gas volume is small, which is suitable for the passage of large liquid volume. Through the large volume operation, the fillers can be further cleaned. At this time, although the gas volume is not large, there are many sulfur bubbles in the regeneration tank. After the system is gradually full load, the resistance of desulfurization tower is measured carefully, which verifies the effect of picking, and also leaves the original data for monitoring the change of tower resistance.
As for scrubbing tower, the resistance of desulfurization tower is bigger. Now there are some ways to clean the packing in the tower, mainly in two ways. One is on-line cleaning without parking (of course, this method can also be used after parking), but I did not do in-depth understanding, speculation may be a peeling agent, dispersant class of things. The other is cleaning after parking, mainly using sodium sulfide to dissolve the chemical reaction of elemental sulfur.
